The FJ Cruiser is an excellent SUV that touts great off-road capabilities, a cool, heritage-laced design, and a ton of quirks – like three windshield wipers and rear half doors. Power comes from a 4.0-liter V6, rated at 239 horsepower and 278 lb-ft of torque. Toyota gave the Jeep Wrangler its first direct rival in many years when it launched the FJ Cruiser for 2007. The heritage-laced exterior design hid proven suspension and mechanical components shared with the 4Runner, among other Toyota off-roaders. It left America after the 2014 model year, though production carried on overseas.
This one boasts the 6-speed manual transmission, a 2-speed transfer case, and a locking rear differential, meaning it's fitted with a full-time 4-wheel-drive system, whereas automatic models got a part-time system. Other benefits here include reasonable mileage, a clean, accident-free Carfax report, and a recent clutch replacement. This FJ also features some modifications, including a suspension lift kit and a bull bar.
The clutch was replaced during a service performed at 87,393 miles in September 2021.
The Carfax history report lists no accidents in this Toyota's past.
