August 20 21 1966 Beatles Crosley Field Cincinnati Concert Ticket and Tour Book

This is for an original Beatles Tour book from 1966 along with an extremely rare ticket stub from the August 21 1966 show at Crosley Field in Cincinnati Ohio. The ticket is dated for August 20, and the opening acts of the tour, The Cyrkles, The Remains, The Ronnettes and Bobby Hebb were able to perform an abbreviated set, but a deluge of rain and lightning would prevent the Beatles from headlining the show due to a risk of electrocution. It was agreed that the Beatles would play their part of the show the following day on August 21 at noon, and then after the performance they were whisked away to the Civic Center at Busch Memorial Stadium in St Louis Missouri for a second show on the same day. This would be the only time in their history that the Beatles would perform two different concerts in two different cities in only one day. After their August 21 concerts, the band would only play four more dates in 1966 before they would hold their final live performance on the rooftop of Apple Records on January 30 1969. An extremely rare ticket which is taped nicely inside an actual beautiful clean 1966 tour book. One of the last performances of the Beatles along with the history making fact of playing two shows in two cities in one day. Tough to top this one. Everything is 100% original.
