    Description

Authentic Hand Painted 20" Porcelain Doll from Ramón & Josefina Inglés of Bétera, Valencia, Spain.
This Stunning Doll has a lovely painted expression, long limbs and elegant features.
Larger than the Inglés Dolls typically seen, she is an impressive 20"
Her clothes consist of a crushed pink velvet Blouse with Puffed Sleeves; Puffed Balloon Pants and Matching Hat with an Embroidered Net Overlay; and a Hat and Blouse both trimmed with Pink and Silver intertwined Gimp Trim.
The clothes have normal wear such as a few loose threads and loose elastic on the pants but there are no stains AS SHOWN.
This sensational doll is good PREOWNED vintage condition with no chips or cracks on the porcelain.
The Bisque arms and legs need to be cleaned but I will leave that to the new owner.
She does come with the stand, which is very sturdy and adjusts through the use of a wing nut.
I do not see any others like it and it appears to be a high end quality item.
Please look at all of the photos as they are the best description and ask any questions BEFORE purchasing.
    THANK YOU for your consideration.
Ramón Ingles Capella, born in Betera, Valencia 1932 was a sculptor and ceramist. In the 80's he achieved great worldwide success in the manufacture of porcelain dolls.
The porcelain factory itself was originally a convent that soldiers took over in the Civil War in the late 1930s. It is said that they killed the nuns and monks and threw them into the well through which water from the nearby aqueduct entered. Afterwards, a horse corral occupied the building and then Ramón Inglés and his sister Fina converted it into a factory for dolls. The business was left behind after skirmishes with the local government and plans to restore it never came to fruition. The building, said to be haunted, fell into disrepair and is in ruins.
