Elegant Cut Glass Dresser Jar on Pedestal-Probably English-Deep Cut-many facets

Description

Up for auction is a elegant and awesome cut glass dresser jar that stands on a pedestal.  It is deep cut glass and had to have been done by a master glass cutter.  It is sharp and deep.  I searched for a makers mark but did not find one.  The lid sits loosely on the body.  I believe the piece was made in England as I saw a comparable jar on a pedestal that had a sterling top and it was from England.  I would put this in the era of American Brilliant Period glass i.e., 1880-1925.  It is fairly heavy and weighs 2# on its own.  It stands 5" tall.  It is special!!
