Melles Griot 05-LHP-211 Polarized Red HeNe Laser Head Tested Guaranteed ~1.1mW

Description

Melles Griot 05-LHP-211 red (633 nm) HeNe Laser in excellent cosmetic and functional condition.  These are used but they behave like new. ;-)  They may have been pulled from instruments when they were sent in for calibration - not due to any problems regardless of the performance of the laser.  Unfortunately, HeNes do now have run-time meters, but based on the output power, operating voltage, and dropout current, they are like new.  One is from 2007, the other from 2008.  But modern hard-sealed HeNe lasers do not decay on the shelf even over decades.
Linearly polarized beam, tested output power of around 1.1 mW for both after warmup (spec is 0.8 mW).  First come first served for highest power.
The 05-LHP-211 is used in as the reference laser in a variety of wavemeters, FTIRs, and other precision instruments.
IMPORTANT: These tubes may take up to a minute or more light.  For use in a wavemeter or similar instrument that will be left on continuously, slow start doesn't really matter.  However, some firmware will abort and prevent operation if the tube takes longer than a few seconds to light, though power cycling the instrument after the tube lights will probably overcome this since it will likely then start instantly.  Check your user manual!  While the tubes may be returned, shipping will not be reimbursed if slow start is the issue.
These have long cables.
I would expect them to last more than a year but cannot guarantee it.  For that you need to pay the ~0 for a new head from Pacific Lasertec.
Tested with 60 day warranty.
