Freelance Forges is my silver shop in the foothills of San Jose. Everything is sterling silver or .999 fine except the pins and backs. Each is an original, one-of-a-kind. I have been a competitive fencer for many years and started in on silver working a decade ago. See my Instagram billc100 for photos of other work. Since these are originals and I’m not a professional jeweler, these items are not Tiffany-perfect, but I hope they represent the sport! Please check my other auctions. Handle with care, please.Note: silver weight in the description is after the weight of the pin has been deducted, so is a true weight for the silver.This auction is for a Foil badge 2 5/8 inches long pommel to tip, and ½ inch wide. It is .381 of an ounce of sterling silver, so pretty solid. Good for a jacket lapel or hat (make sure the pin backs are on tight!), or shelf display. Good club award, too. Each piece comes in a gift box. All sales are final. If you are unhappy with the piece you purchase, contact me and we will negotiate a reasonable settlement for sure. I don’t want unhappy purchasers!
