Vintage Smoking Jacket Robe Size Medium Acetate/Rayon MCM Rat Pack Costume EUC

Description

This is a gorgeous vintage smoking jacket made by The Denver Dry Goods Company. Not sure of exact date of manufacture -- most probably the 1950s or 1960s.
The label is intact but there are no other tags as far as size or material. Based on the measurements, we believe this is a men’s medium or a woman's large.
Approximate measurements:
27.5" from base of collar to front hem
23" from shoulder to wrist cuff
We surmise that this is made from acetate/rayon fabric: tiny diamond pattern in dark maroon/black, black lining, black sash. Fabric is somewhat shiny, has a silky feeling, drapes beautifully and is completely luxurious.
Three exterior hemmed slash pockets: one on chest, two on sides. Two sash loops. Slight, soft shoulder pads. Pre-set roll back cuffs. Full length collar.
Garment has been hand washed, air dried, and gently steamed. Vintage material is in very good condition with minor wear here and there.
Use as a smoking jacket, as a lounging robe, or as a costume for the theatre, Halloween, or Oscar watching party -- or wear it when doing errands because you are debonair and way cool.
